Megan’s root training is in Theravada Buddhism, beginning in 1996. Deeply drawn to the exploration of our inner-world she spent many years in and out of intensive silent retreats, as well as two and a half years ordained as a Buddhist nun. Many other traditions and modalities have also influenced her practice and teaching, and she is endlessly interested in peoples’ entry points to presence. She currently is the Co-founder and Program Director at Mindful Schools, a non-profit brining secular mindfulness training to students and educators. She finds great joy in sharing this practice with others, encouraging peace in our world.
